TV Guide Inserts Advertising Requirements

Commission
Agency commission of 15% is available for all paid advertising. Production fees are not commissionable. Net within 10 days of production invoice date. Net within 20 days of advertising space invoice date.

Order Closings
National Full-Run Insert-80 days prior to issue date.
Regional Insert-70 days prior to issue date.

Copy Approval
Blueline, ad layout and sample of insert stock must be submitted for the Publisher's approval 50 days prior to issue date and prior to printing inserts. Send space contracts and insert orders on or before closing date to your TV Guide® sales representative.

Production Information
Advertisers are advised to have TV Guide produce their inserts to conform to TV Guide specifications. For issue availability and insert printing estimates, please contact your TV Guide® sales representative. Printing and shipping quotes are provided by TV Guide's Manufacturing department once the space order has been accepted. Production costs are net and are billed separately from space costs.

Business Reply Cards
All Business Reply Cards positioned within the Local Program Section MUST be perforated. Please contact your TV Guide® sales representative for latest specifications.

Insert Mechanical Requirements
The following information is provided as an initial guide for standard insert units in TV Guide. Non-standard units, i.e., those that do not conform to the following specifications, must be submitted to TV Guide for approval. Inserts containing product samples are not acceptable. For complete preparation instructions, contact your TV Guide® sales representative for the "Specifications for Advertising Inserts" booklet.

For main text the minimum type size is 6-point; however, 8-point is recommended. TV Guide is not responsible for reproduction of thin text type, reverse thin serif type or smaller than 12-point size. For additional information, see GAA type specifications.
